We would like to welcome you to Bed & Breakfast Le Grand Pont and ask you to get to know take from these General Terms and Conditions.

1. General

• • These General Terms and Conditions apply to all users of B&B Le Grand Pont, located in Vielsalm, Rue de la Bouvière 19.
  • With the conclusion of a rental agreement, these General Terms and Conditions become effective.
  • Upon request, a copy of these Terms and Conditions will be provided to users free of charge.
  • Tenants must have a permanent place of residence and be 18 years or older.
  • The manager is not liable for damage, loss or theft of users' property. In case of disputes, all (legal) costs shall be borne by the users.
  • All risks relating to a stay at B&B Le Grand Pont are the responsibility of the users.
  • Damage and loss of movable and immovable property belonging to the owner B&B Le Grand Pont, must be reported and compensated immediately to the owner by the users. In case of discussion, the owner's determination remains binding.
  • Guests should follow instructions from the manager.
  • The manager may deny and/or refuse guests access to B&B Le Grand Pont with immediate effect, without further notice and indication of reasons, in the event of breach of these General Terms and Conditions and inappropriate behaviour and
    without reimbursement of accommodation costs.
  • The administrator's records are decisive without dispute, unless the users can prove otherwise. For all deviations not included in these conditions, the owner decides.
  • Guests of B&B Le Grand Pont must comply with the Household Regulations below.

2. Booking and confirmation

• • The rental agreement can be entered into verbally, by phone and by mail (subject to availability of space).
  • After receiving your reservation request, B&B Le Grand Pont will send a final confirmation by e-mail. After that, the reservation is final for both parties.
  • On the website www.legrandpont.be reference is made to these General Terms and Conditions. You can also request them via e-mail.
  • There is no extra charge for booking a stay at B&B Le Grand Pont.

3. Payment

• • Accommodation fees for B&B Le Grand Pont must be paid in advance by bank transfer, or minimum 10% paid in advance and the remaining 90% paid in cash on arrival. The owner may deviate from these terms in consultation with the tenant.
  • When booking a longer period, the owner may request an advance payment of the agreed rent.

4. Cancellation

If you are unexpectedly unable to fulfil the lease agreement entered into,
please inform us as soon as possible so that we can still make the vacant reservation.

In case of cancellation, the tenant pays a fee to the manager:

• • • in case of cancellation before 2 weeks before the arrival date: EUR 0, the prepaid 10% will be refunded.
    • in case of cancellation from 2 weeks before the arrival date: 100% of the agreed price. The outstanding amount is then to be transferred to the owner's bank account within 7 days.

6. Arrival and departure

• • Upon arrival, you should first check in with the owner.
  • You will be asked to show your passport or identity card for identification purposes.
  • Check-in from 3pm to 10pm, check-out until 11am.
  • Deviation from the above times can only be made by mutual agreement
  • There will be no refund in case of early departure.

7. Breakfast

• • Breakfast is served between 8am and 11am (on request another time is
    possible).
  • Breakfast is included in the overnight stay.
  • Special requests such as vegetarian, gluten- or lactose-free please let us know at least two days in advance.

8. Your stay

• • Use by third parties of the B&B is not allowed.
  • Subletting is prohibited.
  • Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight in the accommodation without the manager's permission and without additional payment.
  • Children welcome. There is plenty of room in the room for a cot. Extra charge according to age. Children under 10 should never be left unaccompanied in the rooms.
  • Pets welcome in rooms provided for this purpose. Extra charge according to number. If the pets do not come in the rooms but stay in a vehicle or dog trailer, no additional payment should be made. Use of the
    Provided dog pasture is free, subject to clearing of needs.
  • Pets should never be left unattended in the rooms, unless in a closed crate.

9. Safety and environment

• • The accommodation should be kept clean and tidy.
  • We have a lifting pump to pump the waste water to the sewage system. Therefore, foreign objects must never be flushed (e.g. panty liners, tampons, etc.). Only owner's toilet paper is allowed. Costs and damage to the drains or the lifting pump are 100 % recoverable from the tenant in case of violation.
  • Our B&B is a smoke-free building.
  • Smoking and open fires are not allowed due to fire safety. Smoking is allowed on the public terrace adjacent to the garden (not the breakfast room terrace). Butts must not be left on the ground; a sand bucket is provided for this purpose.
  • The accommodation is accessible 24 hours a day during a stay.
